Setting Goals...

Well... it's time to bite the bullet and put "me" first. Life has gotten in the way and I am now 50 lbs heavier then when I got married... gosh that's hard to admit- H.A.R.D! I need to take control of my life and it's starting now.... not tomorrow, or Monday- but now!


The first item to cross off my list is eating out/ordering take out! THIS MUST STOP. Eating out is expensive, crazy fattening, and a waste money! Gosh, this will be a hard one for sure- but my goal is to not eat out for 3 months straight. Now I realize that doesn't sound like a long time, but that's 12 weeks and my starting point. We order out twice a week sometimes, that is far too often!

Additionally, I plan to drink lots of water, eat fresh fruits and veggies, and count my points!

Changing your life is hard, but this busy mama plans to make it happen. If you have any helpful tips, please share!! PLEASE! Pin It

  2. Sounds so great. I have recently lost a lot of weight and have more to go. How I plan to keep it off is def sticking to my schedule. It took me a while to find what works for me but once I did everything else just went in to place. So my advice would be develop a schedule and get your family to buy in to it :-).

  4. Good luck!!! I'm in the same boat as you....started a 2 weeks ago and already feel so much better! It's amazing how fast the weight can come on and what a process it is to lose and maintain....sooooo worth it though! Keep us posted!!

  5. OMG! I know!! I told my husband last week NO MORE FASTFOOD!! and we already broke it once! hehe but Ima try super hard not to break it again! to expensive!

  6. We broke down already and ordered pizza... ahhhhh, but it was sunday and half price pizza day! I plead guilty!

  7. Good luck! You can do it. I noticed you said you were 'coutning points'. Are you on Weight Watchers?

    I just started on January 1st and I've lost 9.5 lbs so far. We also haven't had fast food or gone out to eat in 25 days now. It's been hard, but it's much easier than it was 2 weeks ago :)

    I am kinda on WW... Have all the stuff, but dont attend meetings- which is prob why I always fall off the wagon.

    I must lose weight before baby number two, or I will surely be on the biggest loser!
