Simply buy boxes of cake mix, shredded coconut, chocolate chip morsels and mason jars. Then divide your cake mix into 3rds and layer the remaining ingredients into your jars! You can then attach baking instructions to the backs of your party favor tags!

Your guests will be blown away by your creativity, and thankful for such a fabulous party favor!

Cute idea! I did these at Christmas time with cookie mix. I'm a bit confused, though. Does this make 3 favors? What size Mason Jar? Thank you :)
The favors make cupcakes, so all you do is add the wet ingredients to the dry party favor mix, bake and YUM!
what size mason jars? mine look too big!
Hi Jessica!
I just love your idea! Is it ok if I borrow some pictures of you and show them on my blog (link to you)

Hi that's an awesome idea! I am having my daughter's first brithday and her theme is cupcakes and polka dots...if you have any other cool ideas please let me know! thanks!
What is the recipe that you put into the mason jars, very cute idea
Approximately how many cupcakes will this make!? I love this!!!
Did anyone get any answers to questions asked? How many cupcakes does it make, how large a mason jar? One cake mix makes 3 jars, right?
I actually experimented with this idea this weekend- I used pint sized mason jars, and if you divided the cake mix between three jars, it turns out to be about 1 cup of cake mix per jar. Then I added about 1/3 of a cup of chocolate chips and filled the rest with coconut. It made about 8 cupcakes.
