Why, oh W.H.Y is it so very hard to RSVP?!?
Honestly, bottom line... how difficult is it? I mean for goodness sakes people, most invites now include an E-MAIL address to RSVP!
Life gets busy, I understand- really, I do!
Not sure if you can make it, email the host- let them know it's a possibility you may or may not come... I am sure they will appreciate the heads up, I surely do.
Number ONE pet peeeeeeve, not RSVP-ing!
What are your pet peeves?!?

Oh Dear Lord, please don't get me started on this!!! It is truly UNBELIEVABLE! I honestly got so mad bc of this last party that I swore to my husband that I wasn't going to host any more parties until Chase's next bday. I seriously do not understand this! Honestly, I've started to get kinda mean about...I just call people out on it now! BIGGEST PET PEEVE EVER!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs a wedding/event planner, my biggest pet peeve is not RSVP'ing. I married into a family who is notoriously bad with this, I want to pull my hair out every time I host a family gathering. GRRR.
ReplyDeleteTOTALLY agree!!! It is so flippin' aggravating!
ReplyDeleteagreed! So rude!
ReplyDeleteUM yea...I'm with ya on that! I just threw my son's bday party and out of 20 children invited I only heard from the 9 that said they were coming and then 2 of them didn't even come! I had already paid for them to ride a horse...I feel like sending them a bill! I know that comes along with throwing a party so I try to let it go, obviously I haven't though : )
ReplyDeleteglad I am not the only one!
ReplyDeleteJC- that stinks with regards to the no shows, ultra rude, maybe more rude then not even rspv-ing!
Jessica!! OMG - back looooong time ago when I wanted to have an invitation business (no where NEAR as awesome as yours is!) - the name of my 'company' was RSVP. Just so it was clear and on everyone's mind. R.S.V.P. like now. SERIOUSLY!
ReplyDeleteBIGGEST PET PEEVE!
xoxo
omg tacy that is the BEST NAME! So so so cute! I wonder if there is a company out there called that?!?
ReplyDeleteI get so upset at this too! I'd like to add a similar comment. If RSVP's aren't required, don't sound all excited like you're coming when you have no intentions of showing. The hostess is still trying to get an idea of who might come and I've been badly burned when doing parties, enough that I just don't even try anymore.
ReplyDeleteHow about one person RSVPing on time, but inot only for themselves and a guest....how 'bout 5 guests!!!!! Insanity! LOL True story, I styled a party last weekend, that person brought 7 instead of 5 LOL! The entire family!
ReplyDeleteThe no RSVP has got to be it! Oh, RSVPing and adding guests is THE WORST, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely horrible! Have people NEVER thrown a party before? Surely they know how important it is to freaking RSVP...
ReplyDeleteomg I know... seriously! sooooo crazy frustrating!
ReplyDeleteSo, I totally remembered my #1 pet peeve.... when people bring their SICK kids, or even themselves, around my healthy ones!!!! Seriously, stay home or stay away from me!!!! Sorry, it just happened again last night and totally reminded me of this pet peeve of mine.
