It's Thursday, my last blog post being Sunday... MAJOR bloggin gap! On top of some super fun orders, the Party Box Design Household has come down with the flu... temps from 101-102, aches, coughing and a cranky CRANKY child!!! We need a warm vacay! lol

Anyhoo... had to get back to my blog and share some new designs! The one above is for a Bounce House Party!!! Soooo fun and designed for one stylish lady! I know most Bounce House Centers offer free invites, but WHY OH WHY use them when you can use these!!!

Wedding...

Baking a CaKe....

My bestie of 11 years just turned 30... so of course we MUST celebrate the big 30! This bestie of mine is the most amazing friend, actually amazing doesn't even begin to describe her! Love you Beck!

Anyhooo... I decided, not only will I make cupcakes but a CAKE! I have NEVER EVER baked a cake and I may NEVER EVER bake one again! LOL

At this point let me take a lil moment to say how much I ADMIRE cake bakers/decorators! Honestly, baking the cake easy... BUT making it even- now that is TRUE TALENT! Oh and the icing... how the heck do you all get it sooo smooth????

WELL... I had big dreams for this cake, 3 tiers with cupcakes flowing down the cake! Ummm... let's just say that really didn't pan out! LOL- well actually the "FLOWING" part did! 

First layer... looking good, second layer ohhh this isn't so hard...third layer, "BRAD BRAD... get in here, ... it's SLIIIIIDING"! Ohhh yes, my dreams of a 3 tiered, beautiful cake... DIDN'T HAPPEN!

As I hang my head in shame... here is the PROOF!

Mind you... this angle makes it look way better, I couldn't bring myself to post the actual head on shot.

I boxed colored my hair last night, ohhhh salon how I miss you! Like really really miss you!

Ohhh and TONIGHT I am baking my very first cake! I have baked a millllllion cupcake, but never a BIG OLE CAKE! Wish me luck!!!

I love anything vintage and anything Summer... so what better way then to combine the two!!! A Vintage Kite Party... filled with fabulous colors and patterns, including my fave damask!

You can do sooooo much with this theme! Kite's as Party Favors, Fun Cupcake Toppers topped with cotton candy cloud puffs, mason jars, Cloud-Tinis, the list just keeps going!!!

Ohhh hmmm... what else, I survived the dentist and Boulder's eye is healing well!

Anyhoooo, lots of new at PBD... and I can't beleive it's MONDAY! Last week went by sooooo crazy fast!

On a personal note, I am having 4 cavities filled tomorrrrrrow at the dentist and my tummy hurts just thinking about it! I have not had a cavity in 15 yrs. I turn 30 and wham 4! I think I was less stressed giving birth-lol!!!

Printable Items... yes or no?!?

After saying... "No, I am sorry, Party Box Design does not offer printables more times then I can count, we will FINALLY be saying YES!

More then anything I love to create party decor, invites and thank you notes! Ultimately shipping off a super fabulous party box, only to hear back... "JESS, O.M.G. I am sooo happy, this will be perfect for Em's Party."

HOWEVER... there are some people who like to do it themselves!!! Sooo in the hopes that I no longer turn anyone away with a "NO" response, I will be offering both! YAY!
