Engergizing Smoothie: Eat, Drink and Lose Weight!

I love smoothies... for many reasons.
Mostly because they have helped me lose weight and begin living a healthier life... a lifestyle change.

In fact, I have lost about 27 total body inches.

I had to get past the idea that FAT.... DOES NOT make you FAT! Processed foods are horrible, the words fat free mean chemical city, and carbs you just can't eat that many.

This smoothie, was interesting... insanely healthy, but you can definitely taste the avocado.

I combined chia seeds, pineapple, avocado, spinach, banana, honey and almond milk!
After all those items were blended, I added ice and blended again.

This smoothie is filled
with the most amazing ingredients for your body.
Avocados are SO good for your heart, loaded with a variety of antioxidants
and promotes blood sugar regulation!
Pineapple helps make you less bloated.
Chia Seeds offer omega-3 fatty acids PLUS are rich in antioxidants.
Bananas protect against type II diabetes, aid weight loss, are high in fiber and the list goes on and on.
Spinach is an excellent source of iron.
Local Honey contains pollen that is specific to your area, helping with seasonal allergies.
Almond Milk has a high nutritional content, is low in calories and is an excellent food to consume if you are concerned about managing your weight.

Overall, it's a smoothie I will make again... not totally for the flavor, but for the health benefits.
